BBCode is also composed of tags like HTML. But there is very few tags and possiblities in BBCode. Different tags performs different functions including text formating and inserting objects. Like HTML, BBCode tags also require to be closed properly; if you forget to close a tag, you can cause undesired results.
Note: All the tags should be in lowercase. Although uppercase tag may work in some cases, they won't works on others. Plus it is a bad process of coding.
